- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Employees here are LESS EDUCATED THAN WALMART GREETERS!!! Tried to cash a payroll check on the weekend when my bank was closed. When she saw the amount I hear her say "it must be a whole bunch of back pay" .... lol, it one regular paycheck. Next, she wanted to "the owner of the company to verify the check". This check was from a multi-million dollar company... do I explain to her that it's owned by multiple other companies who are investors, some angel investors, and members of the board? Do I teach her that companies have a finance department which has departments like accounting and accounts payable and these are the people who would verify a check? I honestly started to feel bad when she thought the email from the accounting manager was from me because it had my name in the subject line of the email. I think I'll find a check cashing store on the east side of Naperville instead :)By Kimberlee Washburn, December 18, 2016
